Since 1968 Almedalsveckan has been conducted annually in Visby on Gotland. It is a place for representatives of both the Swedish political parties and all sorts of interest organizations, companies and citizens to gather and discuss politics and social issues. SAS will partake and host seminars about sustainability and the future of flying.
Almedalen is a great place to discuss burning issues. The main topic this year will most probably be how to secure a sustainable future for our planet and for future generations.
It is vital for SAS to take an active part in these discussions, as we strive to be the leading, sustainable airline. Therefore, SAS will be present at Almedalsveckan for four days. We will host our own solid program of seminars with partners and politicians, such as Airbus and Preem. Our Head of CSR and Sustainability, Lars Andersen Resare together with members of our General Management, will participate and show SAS sustainable agenda in seminars hosted by both us and others.
See you in Almedalen!
