The currency adjusted yield was down 2.9% while the currency adjusted PASK was up 0.2%.

SAS signs agreement for regular bio-fuel powered flights

SAS has, along with the Lufthansa Group and KLM,  signed an agreement with Statoil Aviation for a regular supply of bio-fuel at Oslo Airport. SAS was first off the ground in Norway and from Stockholm Arlanda in Sweden with a bio-fuel mix around a week ago and this agreement shows the airline takes its corporate social responsibility seriously in reducing its green house gas emissions.

SAS launches nine new routes 2015

SAS is opening ticket sales for its new routes, with departures from several Scandinavian airports. The summer timetable offers nine new routes to attractive holiday destinations and major European cities. SAS will also continue to operate many of its popular 2014 summer routes, with additional departures on inter-Scandinavian routes.

SAS launches new editorial concept

SAS is launching a new editorial concept called Scandinavian Traveler. This is the first part of a strategy that sees a greater emphasis on SAS's own channels, in particular the digital ones. This will mean saying goodbye to onboard magazine Scanorama and OTW becoming a new SAS partner.

SAS has today secured financing of 4 Airbus A330-300 Enhanced through the signing of a sale and leaseback agreement with the Chinese bank Bocomm. The aircraft will be delivered during the latter part of 2015 and the beginning of 2016.

Scandinavian Airlines arrives in Houston

Scandinavian Airlines is now connecting Houston, Texas, with Stavanger in Norway through six days a week nonstop air service. The initiative is expected to significantly strengthen the economic and cultural ties that already exist within the oil and gas industry in the regions.

SAS increases services to the US on the 50th anniversary of the Chicago route
