SAS traffic figures – November 2016

• Scheduled traffic (RPK) increased 17.3% and the capacity (ASK) was up 10.4%.• The load factor improved by 4.4 p.u. versus last year to 73.7%, the highest recorded for November.• SAS carried 2.4 million scheduled passengers in November, up 7.1% vs. last year.• The preliminary currency adjusted yield and PASK were down 10% and 5% in November 2016. The nominal yield was down 6% and the PASK was unchanged in November 2016. The aviation tax in Norway has in effect been absorbed by the airlines and contributed to the weaker yield development.

The nominal yield and PASK were down 10% and 8% in October 2016. The yield and PASK are affected by a one off increase in the EuroBonus liability, affecting the ratios negatively by almost 2 p.u..

The nominal yield and PASK were down 4% and 3% in July 2016.

Adjusted for the industrial action in Sweden, the number of passengers would have increased by about 0.1 million vs. last year.• The preliminary currency adjusted yield and PASK were down 6% and 5% respectively in June 2016. The nominal yield and PASK were down 9% and 8% in June 2016.
