SAS’ flight operations for April 17, 2010

SAS Scandinavian Airlines would like to inform its customers all its Scandinavian hubs (Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm) will remain closed to at least 13.00 CET, tomorrow, April 17. SAS cannot at this time estimate when operations will resume. Updates will follow on SAS’ local websites.

This means that no SAS flights will operate to/from/within Denmark, Norway and Sweden. A few flights within northern Norway will operate later today; please check your local SAS website for details.

SAS has today, April 16, cancelled 742 flights due to the extraordinary situation.

All customers have the right to rebook or cancel their flights as follows:

Rebooking/Refund
Passengers originally booked on cancelled SAS operated flights may be rerouted to other SAS operated flights to the same destination. The ticket may also be refunded.
Rebooking or refund on cancelled flights does not have to be done immediately, but can be done at any time in the near future.

Passenger holding reservation April 16 – 19, 2010
Passenger holding reservation on a SAS operated flight not yet affected may be rebooked to another SAS operated flight on another date in the same service class as originally booked to the same destination. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2010.For further information:
