Group market trends and yield development
SAS Group number of passengers was up 2,8% vs February 2006. Capacity was up 0,9% and passenger load factor was down 0,6 p.u. to 65,5%.

Load factors are generally slightly lower while yield is positive. Yield for Scandinavian Airlines in January was up 20%, slightly higher than indicated, positively affected by good capacity control, easier comparable figures and active yield management. In February 2007 yield is expected to be positive vs last year but the increase to be somewhat lower than in January.
There are currently no indications of a slowdown of the business cycle. The total market growth is good and yield environment has improved due to positive demand. To continue to improve load factor it is necessary to continue the work with capacity management and commercial activities. There are still uncertainties regarding the strength of the cycle, the competitive situation and development of jet fuel prices. It is therefore necessary to continue with efficiency measures.
Intercontinental capacity decreased 11,7% and traffic by 14,1% in February. SAS Group European traffic increased by 6,5% due to new business models and strong market demand. Passenger load factor was slightly lower than last year.
