Swedish government extends agreement for purchase of SAS flights

April 3, 2008 15:00

FMLOG, the Logistics Center of the Swedish Armed Forces, has announced that it is to extend its agreement with SAS for the purchase of international flights to Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and North and South America. The request for an extension means that the agreement, which can be utilized by 256 authorities, government offices, colleges and universities in Sweden, will be valid until May 31, 2009.“During 2007, slightly more than 105,000 flights with SAS were taken within the framework of this agreement. The fact that FMLOG has now chosen to extend the agreement for the second optional year is confirmation that we have a competitive and high-quality product,” says Stefan Larsson, Director Sales – Key Account Management at SAS Sverige.

“The ability to offer many departures to the most important destinations, domestic and within Europe, as well as intercontinental, is becoming increasingly important for our customers, who calculate the overall cost of a trip and added value rather than the cost of an individual journey,” says Stefan Larsson. For further information, please contact:
