Our Operation

SAS operates a multi-type fleet serving both short-haul and long-haul flying.
Our current fleet includes:

Airbus A320 family (short-haul and medium-haul operations)
Embraer E195 (regional operations – SAS Link)
Airbus A330 / A350 (long-haul operations)

Fleet composition and aircraft assignments may vary over time based on operational needs and network development.

Our Air Operator Certificates (AOC)

The SAS Group operates under three Air Operator Certificates (AOCs). All three airlines operate under the SAS brand, safety standards and training philosophy — but with different aircraft and operational roles.

Airbus A330

Fleet: 8 aircraft Seats: ~270 Range: ~13,400 km Proven long-haul workhorse connecting Scandinavia to North America and Asia. Experience intercontinental operations. Typical routes: Copenhagen-USA, Copenhagen-Mumbai Stockholm-New York

Airbus A350

Fleet: 6 aircraft • Seats: ~300 • Range: ~15,000 km SAS's flagship aircraft representing the future of long-haul flying. State-of-the-art cockpit technology. Typical routes: Copenhagen-Asia, Copenhagen-USA
