As a Captain at SAS, you’ll lead flights across domestic, European, and long-haul destinations—backed by the stability of a permanent contract, a fixed base, and 42 days of leave. REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements:
- EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (A), Commercial Pilot Licence (A), or Multi-Crew Pilot License*
- MCC Course
- Completed Advanced UPRT course
- ICAO English Level 5 or 6
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU
- Clean criminal record
- Background check
- Security interview
- Alcohol & drug testing
*Non-Scandinavian EASA licenses are accepted but must be converted before course start.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Through our mixed fleet program, you’ll have the chance to fly both the Embraer 195, A320. You can also explore long-haul routes as part of our widebody operations on the A330 and A350.
At SAS, your career can take many directions. You’ll have the possibility to become a Line Training Captain (LTC), Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI), Type Rating Instructor (TRI), Type Rating Examiner (TRE), Line Check Captain (LCC), Pilot Assessor, and even progress to the role of Chief Pilot.
