Jørgen Lindegaard receiver of the Golden Master Award in Spain

At a ceremony that took place yesterday in Madrid, Jørgen Lindegaard, president and CEO of the SAS Group, received the Spanish Golden Master Award. The award, that is dealt out by the High Management Forum created in 1982, aims at recognising those people of some standing in public life “who have either been prominent in their professional work in financial, business, political or cultural spheres, or who have won over new sectors or markets, or have taken part in discovering or implementing new technologies, or have contributed to strengthening the essential fabric of society”.

Previous award winners are among others HM D. J Carlos I, Camilo José Cela, Nobel Prize Winner, Mikhail Gorbachov, former President of the USSR, Jaime Paz Zamora, former President of Bolivia and Jorge Sampaio, former President of Portugal.

“I am extremely honoured and proud to receive this award. Through the subsidiary Spanair, the SAS Group has had the opportunity to participate in the tremendously expansive Spanish market”, says Jørgen Lindegaard.
