Jørgen Lindegaard to leave SAS on August 1

Following today’s meeting of the Board of Directors of SAS AB, SAS President and CEO Jørgen Lindegaard announced that he will formally leave his position on August 1, 2006.
The SAS Board has named Executive Vice President Gunnar Reitan as Acting President and CEO until a new president is appointed. A recruitment process has already commenced to find a successor to Jørgen Lindegaard.
