SAS Group's November traffic figures

• SAS Group’s traffic decreased by 12.9% during November and seat capacity was down 11.0% vs 2007.
• SAS Group carried 2.7 million passengers in September, down 14.5% vs 2007.
• Total passenger load factor was down by 1.4 p.u. to 64.5%.

Group market trends and yield development
Yield for Scandinavian Airlines in October was up by 1.3%, as expected. For November 2008, the change in yield is expected to improve slightly and be positive versus last year.

The market is characterized by lower demand due to weaker macroeconomic development in Scandinavia and Europe. The challenges within the credit market will most likely result in an even more difficult macroeconomic environment in SAS Group’s core markets. The SAS Group is currently implementing measures – Profit 2008 – to secure the result development in 2008. The measures comprises both revenue enhancing and cost measures totaling SEK 1.5 billion. Capacity reductions of 10% as announced earlier are gradually taking effect. The program is running according to set out plan.

SAS Scandinavian Airlines
• Traffic decreased by 10.0% in November
• The load factor decreased by 2.4 p.u to 66.4%.

Scandinavian Airlines International’s total intercontinental traffic was down by 10.7 % vs last year and capacity was down 3.8%. Traffic on Asian routes was down 14% and down 7% on USA routes. The total passenger load factor was 76.2%, down 5.8 p.u.

Scandinavian Airlines Danmark decreased its capacity with 11.3% in November. On European routes, the capacity was down 8.6% and traffic was only down 3.6%. The total load factor was 63.2%, up 2.7 p.u.

Scandinavian Airlines Norge’s capacity decreased by 0.3% and traffic was down by 12.1%. Total load factor was 57.5%, down 7.7 p.u.

Scandinavian Airlines Sverige’s capacity decreased by 13.9%.The total traffic was down 9.0% resulting in a 3.7 p.u. higher total passenger load factor in November.

Punctuality (Novmber)
Within 15 minutes 86.1% of the flights departed on time, the best since may 2003 and the regularity was 99.2%, the best since Aug 2004.

Internet bookings (October)
The proportion of Internet bookings was 33.6% (33.4%) in October 2008
