Håkan Ericson resigns from position within SAS Group Management

Håkan Ericson, who has been a member of SAS Group Management and responsible for the Airline Support Businesses business area since October 1, 2005,, announced today that he wishes to resign from this position.

Håkan Ericson has been appointed president of Loomis Cash Handling Services, a Securitas company.

“Leaving such an exciting company as SAS after a short time is naturally unfortunate, but the offer from Securitas was something I simply could not refuse,” Ericson comments. Ericson will leave his position at SAS on August 31.

Airline Support Businesses is a business area in the SAS Group that has annual sales of approximately SEK 15 billion and 10,700 employees.
The business area includes SAS Ground Services, SAS Technical Services, SAS Cargo, SAS Flight Academy and SAS Media.

Until further notice, Group Management responsibility for the business area’s various operations will be shared as follows among the other members of Group Management:
SAS Technical Services – John S. Dueholm, Executive Vice President
SAS Cargo – Gunnar Reitan, Acting President and Chief Executive Officer
SAS Ground Services, SAS Flight Academy och SAS Media – Bernhard Rikardsen, Executive Vice President.
